Teacher Workshop at Kennesaw State University

Regional Coordinator's picture
Building underwater robots is a fun and engaging way to teach science, technology, applied math, engineering, and even entreprenurial skills to students of all ages. This project-based learning activity introduces ocean exploration through the application of technology.
Our teacher workshop features in-depth review of simple circuits, switches and soldering of electrical component parts and circuit boards, frame building of submersible vehicles, and test piloting. Workshop particpants can take home a built remotely operated vehicle (ROV) to help prepare a student team for the Gray’s Reef Southeast MATE ROV Competition (spring 2020).
